Bushy Park is a unique fenced sanctuary involved in the protection and
recovery of New Zealand's native forest and associated wildlife.
A 'think global, act local' environmental experience, students have the
opportunity to both learn about and do something for the environment.
Bushy Park has a focus on Conservation and the Preservation of our
environment. Students have the opportunity to see what has been achieved
and to think about what they can do in their own lives to help our
indigenous species thrive.
Information packs are provided to schools in advance, giving teachers
the chance to discuss and prepare students for their visit. If a more
'hands on' experience is needed, this can be arranged.
Contact the Homestead Phone (06) 342 9879 to arrange your visit.
